1 tbsp olive oil
6 sausages, good quality beef or pork
2 zucchini, diced or roughly chopped
2 carrots, diced or roughly chopped
2 spring onions, ends removed & sliced
500g Spirali/ Farfalle or Penne Pasta
1 tbsp Gewürzhaus Italian Herbs
Parmesan cheese to serve
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over MED heat.
Squeeze the sausage meat out of the skins & add to the pan. Break the meat up with a wooden spoon & stir while frying.
Dice vegetables or chop them up coarsely in a food processor.
Add vegetables to the pan & fry together with sausage until cooked.
Add the Maria’s Pizza & Pasta Sugo into the pan & stir well.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until ‘al dente’ (still has some ‘bite’)
Once cooked, drain the pasta, reserving 1 cup of the cooking water.
Transfer the pasta into the frying pan with the sauce & stir well. If the sauce is too thick add some of the reserved cooking water. Season to your liking with salt & pepper
Serve in a large bowl, grate over some Parmesan cheese & scatter the Gewürzhaus Italian Herbs on the top.
