I use this fabulous Christmas cake & pudding spice mix for making my Christmas goodies however it is used all year round in my kitchen. Simply delicious in any apple cake recipe, I use it in my Sicilian apple cake and it just lifts the flavour.
Every year I make puddings and Christmas cakes, and I replace spices in the recipe and use the Christmas Cake and Pudding Spice.
The end result is delicious.
I found this to be a bit softer than the other Christmas spices, I used it in cupcakes and could have added a lot more. I like a strong flavour though, if you’re looking for subtle, this is lovely.
My pudding this year was delicious. I highly recommend this spice and think it would be good in other baking recipes too.
