This carefully crafted spice blend contains all the Christmas spices to bake the traditional puddings and rich fruit cakes which fill your house with warm and sweet smells. An old tradition dictates that Christmas pudding be made on the last Sunday before Advent. Cooks combine their secret ingredients – dried fruits, nuts, swigs of this and that liquor. Before putting it in cloth, every member of the family stirs the pudding and makes a special wish.

Use about 2 tbsp of spice for a pudding that serves 12.

Not just for Christmas

I use this fabulous Christmas cake & pudding spice mix for making my Christmas goodies however it is used all year round in my kitchen. Simply delicious in any apple cake recipe, I use it in my Sicilian apple cake and it just lifts the flavour.

Can't do without it

Every year I make puddings and Christmas cakes, and I replace spices in the recipe and use the Christmas Cake and Pudding Spice.

The end result is delicious.

Subtle Flavour

I found this to be a bit softer than the other Christmas spices, I used it in cupcakes and could have added a lot more. I like a strong flavour though, if you’re looking for subtle, this is lovely.
