Widely used in Indian cooking, fenugreek leaf has a strong savoury aroma and subtle bitterness comparable to celery seed, which greatly enhance other flavours. Used in vegetable and fish curries as well as potato and spinach dishes, fenugreek leaf is strong and should be used sparingly towards the end of cooking.

Another important ingredient when making the marinade for Tandoori Chicken and/or Chicken Tikka Kebab/Masala. Lightly dry roasting it and then crushing into the marinade really takes it to another level. You can find the recipe for these authentic dishes on YouTube "Spice Eats". Gewurzhaus makes it so easy to find all the spices you will need to make authentic Indian dishes. Just love them.
