We mill and blend over 100 bespoke spice, salt, sugar and tea blends for our self-scoop concept stores, supported by high quality home and gift wares. Marketing Manager

We are looking for a highly capable, lateral thinking and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the strategic direction of our marketing and brand activities.

Through tactical marketing, creative problem solving, quality execution, and a deep understanding of and care for the Gewürzhaus brand, vision and values, the role will deliver a high level of customer engagement, growth of key channels and brand awareness. Your task is to set Gewürzhaus apart as a unique retailer.

Reporting to the CEO and contributing as an important member of the senior leadership team, the Marketing Manager’s responsibilities include;

  • Ownership of the marketing and brand strategies
  • Deliver tangible results through effective local area marketing, activations, PR and communications, brand management, e-commerce sales, digital marketing and new product development
  • End to end execution of the marketing calendar campaigns and activities
  • Lead new product development and brand activation initiatives from concept to realisation
  • Deliver a robust CRM platform, which contributes to sales performance and long term brand loyalty
  • Informed reporting, giving insight into marketing performance and successes
  • Effectively manage and inspire your team including external contractors ensuring alignment to key objectives, brand standards and our values at all times
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders telling our brand story and deepening understanding along the way

  • You have a deep understanding of and appreciation for brand

Essential criteria

  • 5+ years experience in a Marketing Manager position
  • Extensive experience across the marketing mix
  • Business/Commerce degree with Marketing major or related degree
  • 3+ years real retail/FMCG exposure

Store Manager – Healesville – New Store Opening!

The Store Manager delivers a quality and inspiring retail experience for our customers through genuine customer service, product knowledge and the presentation of their store.

The role will build the Gewürzhuas brand in the surrounding community through a schedule of engaging and inclusive activations which deliver on our mission to inspire people to cook at home.

The Store Manager takes ownership in maintaining quality standards across all aspects of store operation including stock management, visual merchandising, administration & reporting, cleanliness & food handling and delivering budgets and weekly sales targets.

The Store Manager is an effective leader and they take time to build the skill and knowledge of their team, delegate tasks, give feedback and inspire their people to hit targets and celebrate wins.

Our Sales Assistants engage with every customer on a personal, natural, and authentic level. They provide genuine inspiration to best enable the customer to make an informed purchasing decision.   • A person who is confident in the kitchen with their cooking and is happy to share their passion with our customers
  • Retail experience in a busy retail store is preferred
  • Organisation & attention to detail are second nature

  • You are an excellent communicator
  • You are able to remain calm under stress and can multi-task with swift efficiency

Assistant Store Manager – Sydney Locations

The Assistant Store Manager responsibilities include maintaining an exceptional customer experience, driving sales & KPIs, leading by example to provide amazing customer service at all times, managing a team of casuals, store presentation & visual merchandising; and administration and inventory management for the store. Maintaining the brand and business ethics in all of these aspects is of the highest importance. Full time positions available.

  • A strong work ethic, organisation & attention to detail are second nature
