Gingerbread is a sweet spiced biscuit or cake enjoyed throughout the world. Germans appreciate it as Lebkuchen, in France, as pain d’épices, in Brazil, as pão de mel, and in the UK, USA and Australia as just good old-fashioned gingerbread. We recommend around 2 tablespoons of spice per mixture, or tailored to suit your recipe. A highly versatile blend, it also pairs well with chocolate and more savoury dishes like roast pumpkin.
