Our great grandmother Rosa taught us how to make this traditional Hungarian gulyás and we still love it! Brown 2-3 sliced onions in oil until golden, add 800g diced pork (not too lean), seal and season with 2 tbs spice. Add water to just cover and cook for 30 min, then add 1kg rinsed, drained sauerkraut and top with water again. Cook covered until meat is soft. Season and serve with pure cream or sour cream. Tip: For best results, use a pressure cooker.
