Asian Wok Spice showcases the classic balance of flavours found in Asian cooking – sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter. This magnificent medley beckons the fragrant heat of a gleaming wok to complete its magic of mere moments. Whether stir-frying noodles, meat, vegetables or tofu, Asian Wok Spice adds fresh, authentic flavours to be happily savoured with the lively jostling of chopsticks. Mild in heat, more chilli may be added to taste.

Add 1 tsp of spice per portion to stir-fries or wok dishes after searing off the meat or vegetables. Also suited to soups and sauces, where it should be added towards the end of cooking.
Cumin, onion, raw sugar, pepper, ginger, star anise, chilli, paprika, garlic, sea salt, cassia, liquorice root, Sichuan pepper, coriander, fennel, clove, allspice.

Great for fish

Used it on salmon to take away the fish flavour for kids that don’t like the taste of fish. They loved it!

Nice spice

I think it’s a pretty good Asian wok mix ( but a little too much all spice for me. I prefer mine saltier. But all I just added soy sauce, pepper etc, fresh chilli. Worked well. :)

Asian Wok Spice

I found it needed quite an oily stir fry to make to powdered spice incorporate well. For a very low oil vegetable stir fry, the spice mix clumped.

Good taste, if a little too spicy (hotter chilli).
