Sales Assistant- Various Stores, NSW (Christmas Casual)

Christmas at Gewürzhaus is about home cooking, family traditions and giving. Our stores are a buzz with seasonal spice blends, specialty products and in store tastings to create a beautiful instore experience for our customers. 

We are growing our team ready for a busy festive season; we have seasonal Christmas casual positions available from late October until January 2026 in our four beautiful Sydney locations; Castle Towers, Bondi Junction and our two CBD stores.

About The Role 

Our Christmas casuals play an integral part in delivering Christmas across our network of retail stores. They support our store teams to ensure standards for operations and customer experience are maintained during the busiest time on our calendar. The day-to-day responsibilities as a Christmas casual may include;

• Greeting and serving customers
• Sharing product knowledge and gift recommendations
• Daily tea brewing and tastings
• Restocking the store
• Maintaining store presentation and merchandising displays
• Processing sales transactions
• Store opening and closing tasks

Who We Are Looking For

• Passionate home cooks who have a good base knowledge of food.
• Existing spice knowledge is a definite, but not essential, bonus!
• A love for retail and customer service
• A positive can-do attitude, no matter the task
• Flexible availability across weekdays and weekends. Late night trade in some locations.
