This effortless speedy spaghetti is a favourite with the cook and kids of all ages, and who can blame them? An irresistible spaghetti bolognese bursting with classic Italian flavours made in a jiffy.
Fill a large pot with water along with 1 teaspoon of salt. Cover and bring to the boil, then cook the spaghetti following instructions on the packet and drain.
In the meantime, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large heavy-based saucepan on medium-high heat. Add mince and fry for 2-3 minutes, breaking up any lumps with a wooden spoon.
Once the mince is browned all over, add in the Speedy Spaghetti Spice, balsamic vinegar and remaining salt.
Stir, reduce heat and simmer, monitoring until the mix starts to caramelise and become sticky.
Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato paste, stir to evenly spread, then continue simmering on medium heat, covered with a lid for 15 minutes.
Serve on top of the drained spaghetti and season to taste with salt and pepper. Finish with freshly grated parmesan cheese.

The recipe for using this spice was absolutely delicious! I made a gluten free version and it went down a treat.

My SIL gave this to me, and I love it! I never would have thought to add balsamic vinegar but it goes so well with the spices. It really is a quick and easy meal and the spice blend seasons it perfectly.
