Cardamom Green (Ground)

Rated 5.0 out of 5
Based on 3 reviews

The signature spice of the famous chai tea, cardamom is sweet yet deeply pungent with camphoric tones. This bright, complex flavour brings sophistication to cakes, biscuits, puddings and scrolls; curries and stews; rice dishes; stewed and preserved fruits; red meats; and drinks.

Use sparingly. Combines well with citrus, rose, saffron, honey and dried apricots.

Warm your Heart

Soak a few (4-6) almonds for at least 4 hours

then boil the kettle, balance almonds

in a blender add...

400ml of hot water, a sprinkle of gewurxhaus cinnamon and half a teaspoon of this marvellous Cardamon. For sweetness, if you like add a few currants, then blend it all together and you will have made the most exquisite creamy warming drink. A sublime evening nightcap on a cool evening or a day when you just want that little taste of love. and yes it has to be THIS cardamon. I've tried many and this is the one you want.
