The serving of this tea often takes a ceremonial form, especially when prepared for a guest. As an offer of hospitality, the head of the household prepares and usually serves at least 3 glasses of heavily sweetened tea, and it is impolite to refuse! Consumed at tea bars and in homes throughout the day, the tea refreshes the mind and body with a lingering coolness.

How to brew
Brew 1 heaped tsp of tea per cup at 80°C for 4–5 min and sweeten with sugar or honey as desired. Can also be chilled and livened with fresh mint for a delicious summer beverage.
Ingredients
Gunpowder green tea, spearmint, peppermint, rose petal.
