Crispy Tofu

Ingredients

200g firm tofu

2 tbsp light soy sauce

1 tbsp mirin

½ cup vegetable oil
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce and mirin. Cut the tofu into 2cm cubes and place in the bowl.
Gently stir the tofu in the bowl so that it’s coated with the mixture. Set aside to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan over MED – HI heat. Using tongs or chopsticks, place the tofu in a single layer in the pan and fry all sides until golden.
Once fried, remove all from the pan and set onto paper towel to drain.
To serve
Divide evenly and place into each bowl of Quick Ramen Broth and add any other toppings of your choice. We recommend Soy Eggs and Miso Butter Corn, and a choice of protein such as Japanese Chashu Pork, Ginger & Garlic Pork Mince or Miso Grilled Chicken. Add a drizzle of crispy chilli oil for a little heat. Serve immediately.
