Green Tea

Synonymous with the vibrant heat and colours of North Africa, and integral to social life in Maghreb countries, Mint Tea is the perfect refresher. The serving of this tea often takes a ceremonial form, especially when prepared for a guest. As an offer of hospitality, the head of the household prepares and usually serves at least 3 glasses of heavily sweetened tea, and it is impolite to refuse! Consumed at tea bars and in homes throughout the day, the tea refreshes with a lingering coolness.
