Be whisked away to the wide open spaces of Argentina’s Pampas with Chimichurri spice. The Basque name tximitxurri, ‘a mixture of everything’, refers to the versatility of its use and the array of ingredients, depending on regions, family traditions and the individual cook. This perfect blend of herbs and spices makes the ultimate accompaniment to all grilled or roasted meats, whether poured over barbecued food or used as a zingy marinade before cooking. Not just for the carnivore in us, Chimichurri spice is also delicious in many vegetarian dishes.

For a chimichurri sauce, combine 3 tbsp of spice with ¼ cup of red wine vinegar and ½ cup of olive oil. Set aside for the flavours to develop before serving. Use with chargrilled meat, pumpkin, portabello mushrooms, eggplant, eggs, chickpeas and avocado.
Parsley, basil, oregano, thyme, salt, cilantro, savoury, black pepper, garlic, paprika, red bell pepper.

Regularly Refilled Favourite!

Love this on chicken thigh with a yogurt marinade. Also great to use up all the herbs in the fridge at the end of the week for a tasty herby sauce.
