Louisianan Cajun

Rated 5.0 out of 5
Based on 4 reviews

This lively mix celebrates the French Canadian, and Spanish and African influences of Cajun and Creole cooking. Inspired by the bold, rustic flavours of Louisiana’s famous gumbos, jamabalayas, blackened fish and grilled meats, our blend will take your tastebuds on a Mardi Gras of flavour any day of the week.

Sprinkle on chicken, fish or red meats and marinate for 30 min, cook on the barbecue or pan fry in butter for a blackened look and taste.
Paprika, onion, sea salt, garlic, basil, pepper, cumin, mustard seed, fennel, cayenne pepper, cassia, oregano.

Bang it on everything

This spice will be like your favourite child that you pretend not to have. It tastes amazing on fish and my partner has declared he can’t live without it. I wish it came in a bigger size!

Really great flavour and versatile. My family enjoyed this before we switched to a vegetarian diet and when we made the shift it was one of a select few spice blends that worked just as well with plant based cooking. Delicious for a Cajun style sweet potato fritter with an American coleslaw as the side.
