Pumpkin Pie Spice will find its way into all your baking, especially when used with the natural sweetness, smoothness and binding ability of the humble pumpkin.

Warm, woody and sweet, this blend works a treat with granola, nut bars and smoothies, pairs well with coconut and dairy, and may be used to replace some of the sugar in traditionally sugar-heavy desserts. Use Pumpkin Pie Spice to elevate savoury dishes such as pumpkin gnocchi or zucchini fritters. Of course, it also makes the great American Pumpkin Pie, complete with whizz-up-in-a-flash filling and a wonderful, simple pastry base.

Use 2½ tsp of spice per 1½kg of pumpkin for a pie that serves 10.
Cassia, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, mace blade, clove.

More than Pumpkin Pie

I love Pumpkin Pie but just1/8tsp in my coffee everyday and I’ve got a delicious coffee without the additives. I’m so addicted to this spice, sprinkle it on oats but I love it on roast pumpkin and sweet potato.
