Our Mini Mex Taco Spice is big on flavour, but mild on heat - ideal if you're cooking for children, or if chilli is just not your thing.
Developed as the sibling to our top-selling Tex Mex Taco Spice, Mini Mex Taco Spice delivers a bright, zingy and bold flavour owing to distinctive ingredients like lemon myrtle and amchur. We'll guarantee that the whole family will love it.
Free of fillers, anti-caking agents and artificial flavour enhancers, this blend is also super versatile - Beef Tacos, Mini Mex Guacamole and a 5-Minute Tomato Salsa are all ready in 30 minutes and made using just our Mini Mex Taco Spice.

Inspired by the age-old Yucatan dish cochinita pibil, this rub helps you cook an authentic Mexican family favourite at home. With smokiness and a mild, earthy heat from chipotle, and vibrancy from the traditional annatto seed, this blend is a sure-fire hit for lovers of Mexican food. Make low-and-slow pulled pork to serve in tacos, burritos, with rice and beans, in sliders or as a pizza topping. This versatile blend also makes a delicious chipotle mayo and combines well with beans for a vegetarian taco filling.

Guacamole Spice is a great addition to any Mexican feast. Originating with the Aztecs in Mexico, Guacamole is now eaten worldwide as a condiment, dip, spread and with salads. Our spice mix is a family favourite with versatile uses, and is the key ingredient in a flavourful, easy-to-make guacamole. Enjoy with warm tortilla chips or in a taco.

Viva Tex Mex! The official dish of the US state of Texas, chilli con carne literally means 'chilli with meat' and is often referred to as just 'chilli'. Ours is a delicious and fiery blend that's hard to beat. Packed full of Mexican chillies and cumin, this blend is perfect in tacos, spicy casseroles and bean soup.
Flavour Notes: Fiery, savoury, earthy, complex
Cuisine: American

While chillies are mostly used for their flavour and heat, paprika is used for its vibrant colour and full-bodied flavour. Also from the capsicum family, paprika is the name given to only slightly hot members. This paprika (also known as 'pimentón ahumado') is strongly smoked and neither sweet nor hot.
The Mayans began mixing cocoa with ground chilli and spices as early as AD 460, when they discovered the fantastic taste and health benefits of Mayan Chilli Chocolate. Rich, earthy and chocolatey with a slow-building heat that lingers rather than shouts. This blend is at home in both sweet and savoury dishes, from grown-up chocolate desserts to rich sauces and traditional Mexican moles.

Be whisked away to the wide open spaces of Argentina's Pampas region with Chimichurri spice. Its original Basque name tximitxurri (translating to 'a mixture of everything'), refers not only to the array of ingredients, but to the versatility of its use which is influenced by geography, family traditions and the individual cook. This blend of herbs and spices makes the ultimate accompaniment to grilled or roasted meats, whether used as a zingy marinade before cooking or poured over meat or vegetables after grilling.
Flavour Notes: Herbaceous, savoury, slightly smokey
Cuisine: Argentinian

Cayenne pepper, contrary to its name, has nothing to do with pepper: it's a blend of hot chillies selected to provide a balance of heat. Use instead of chilli powder or even pepper. Great in scrambled eggs, frittatas and quiche. Also known as: Aleva, bird pepper, cow horn, guinea spice, hot chilli powder.

This chilli's deep red flesh has a green-tea flavour with berry overtones. Used in salsa for tamales, the guajillo chilli is also great in pastes, butter and meat rubs - try it with chicken. These whole dried pods rehydrate in warm water for a rounder, more complex sauce, or can be toasted and ground fresh for a punchier powder.

With less heat than your average chilli, you can safely take a good whiff of the ancho chilli. The complexity of its aroma is tantalising - sweet yet smoky, with notes of caramel and molasses. Add to chilli con carne or meat dishes such as spaghetti bolognese where a balance of sweetness and heat is required. These whole dried pods need rehydrating in warm water before blending into sauces, or can be toasted and ground fresh for a more vibrant, aromatic powder, ideal for traditional mole sauces.

This smoke-dried jalapeño chilli, native to Mexico, is famously used in the dish adobo. Its earthy smokiness yet floral sweet tones will make you reconsider the general perception of chillies as being nothing more than burning hot. Add this to anything you like chilli in - one of our favourites, it's sure to become yours too. These whole dried pods rehydrate for a smoky, complex sauce, or can be toasted and ground fresh for a more vibrant powder.

The strands of dried decorative chillies you may see in shops or kitchens are often of the arbol variety. These long, curved chillies mature from green to fiery red, uniquely retaining their bright scarlet upon drying. With intense heat and a subtle smoky flavour, these chillies are popular in western Mexican and Tex Mex cooking. Fry or soak before use for a deeper intensity.
Heat Level: 8-9/10
One of the hottest chillies on the market, the habanero is not for the faint-hearted! Add it sparingly to hot sauces, stews and curries. The delicious citrus-like flavour and floral aroma are quickly overpowered by its heat. This ground chilli is ready to use straight from the jar, ideal for quickly seasoning hot sauces, marinades and extreme spice blends without any prep.
