Part handmade and part machine fabricated, the Alexander Mills Pepper Mill is both beautiful and functional. The food-safe zinc alloy metal grinding mechanism is designed to actually grind the pepper, maximising flavour and aroma, and adjusts from fine to coarse. The durable all-metal body, in a solid cast brass finish, has an open bottom and is front loading for ease of refilling.

Handcrafted to exacting standards in Thessaloniki, Greece, in a thorough quality-controlled, small-scale family business production environment, each Alexander Mill is produced from high quality materials with a fine detailed finish while being robust and practical for day-to-day use.

Avoid excessive moisture. Never wash or submerge the mill in water or place it in the dishwasher
Store in a cool, dry place
Avoid grinding over steaming pots, as moisture may clog the mechanism
If the mechanism clogs, loosen it and clean it with a small brush
Never use salt in a pepper mill. Salt mills are suitable for dry sea salt or rock salt, but not wet salt or salt flakes
The metal casing will naturally oxidise over time. Polish with a suitable metal cleaner, or remove heavier corrosion with a scouring pad, then wipe clean and dry
