Green marble from Pakistan comes in various shades with dramatic white and brown veins. Some green marble has onyx-like texture, giving it a glass like, translucent finish.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry straight away with a soft cloth
Do not soak or leave standing in water as marble is porous and will absorb moisture
Wipe up acidic foods and liquids (citrus, tomato, vinegar, wine) promptly, as acid can etch or dull the surface
Avoid abrasive scourers and harsh or acidic cleaners
Refresh occasionally with a food-safe mineral oil to even out the colour and sheen
