Dinner could not be any easier with just 6 ingredients and 30 minutes in the oven, this is Larissa Sewell's take on a Bavarian Roast Chicken!

Ingredients

8 tbsp olive oil
3 heaped tbsp Gewürzhaus Bavarian Roast Chicken Spice
6 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin on
1 kg baby potatoes, cut into wedges
1 lemon, cut into wedges
1 onion, cut into wedges (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 200°C fan forced (220°C conventional).
In a small bowl or jug, whisk together the olive oil and the Bavarian Roast Chicken Spice to make a marinade.
Scatter potatoes, lemon and onion (if using) into a large baking dish and drizzle them with half of the marinade, tossing them about to coat evenly.
Layer the chicken thighs on top and drizzle them with the rest of the marinade, coating the skin evenly.
Roast for 30 minutes. At the 30-minute mark, remove from the oven and carefully toss the potatoes around so that they cook evenly.
Roast for a further 15 minutes until the chicken skin is golden, the meat is cooked through, and the potatoes are fork-tender.
Finish with a fresh squeeze of lemon, if desired.
